Day #19 – 27/07/2014
Today,
it’s Sunday but we woke up early in the morning because one of the son of Eva
and Chris had to be in Riga at 9 :00 for going to a summer sport camp.
Then Chris had to work a little bit, and after we went to Jurmala. It was very
hot today, but the sea was colder than the previous days (maybe 19-20 degrees).
The temperature of the sea depends on the wind, if the wind comes from the
North, the water will be warmer, if it comes from the South, it will be colder.
We stayed about 4 hours on the beach. Then we had lunch at Lido but Russian
version. And we came back to home because Chris’s family arrives from Finland. On
the picture below, you can see the wood which has been delivered for winter, to
heat Evas’s house during the winter, we can imagine how the winter can be very
cold !
Aujourd’hui c’est dimanche, mais nous
nous sommes réveillés tôt ce matin parce que l’un des fils d’Eva et Chris
devait être à Riga à 9h pour partir à un camp d’été de sport. Puis Chris devait
travailler un peu, et après nous sommes allés à Jurmala. Il a fait très chaud,
mais la mer était plus froide que les jours précédents (peut-être 19-20
degrés). La température de la mer dépend du vent, si le vent vient du nord, la
mer sera plus chaude, s’il vient du sud, elle sera plus froide. Nous sommes
restés environ 4h sur la plage. Puis nous avons déjeuné au Lido (version
russe). Et nous sommes rentrés à la maison car de la famille de Chris arrivait
de Finlande. Sur la photo ci-dessous, vous pouvez voir le bois livré pour
l’hiver, pour chauffer la maison d’Eva pendant l’hiver, et c’est là qu’on se
rend compte que l’hiver pourra être très froid !
