Day #6 – 14/07/2014
Today it’s the French national day, but I forgot it until my French
friends remember me on Facebook. Go to work, lunch at the InnocentCafe, then go
back to work. Then go back to home, have dinner outside, it’s sunny. And of
course we had a bath in the lake, so cool. And a cocktail (vanilla ice cream,
plum juice and strawberries). For Eva, this cocktail reminds her of childhood
during the Soviet occupation, because it was the only good thing she could eat.
One more sunny day in Latvia, so great !
Aujourd'hui c'est la fête nationale en France, mais j'avais oublié
jusqu'à ce que mes amis sur Facebook me le rappellent. Travail, déjeuner à
l'InnocentCafé, retour au travail. Retour à la maison, dîner dehors, il fait
très beau. Bain dans le lac ensuite bien sûr, c'est cool. Et ensuite un
cocktail (glace à la vanille, jus de prune et fraises). Pour Eva, ce cocktail lui
rappelle son enfance pendant l'occupation soviétique, parce que c'était la
seule bonne chose qu'elle pouvait manger. Et un jour ensoleillé de plus en
Lettonie, super !
